Catharsis, is a collection that revolves around expressing emotions that are of a dark and chaotic state of mind.  At the same time, we should be reminded of the importance to let go these emotions. The fabrications of the collection are made out of a custom made print inspired from abstract expressionists artists using the splatter paintings techniques that was done digitally. These were then developed into manipulations of pintucks and drawstring details that symbolizes tension & release. The highlight of the collection is the use of knotted ropes to create garments that look like a heavy chain with a silhouette which is overwhelming and oppressive."
